Anyone Doubting Asian Beauty, Meet Miss Universe
Riyo Mori, an incredible 20-year-old Japanese beauty from Shizuoka Prefecture, was voted Miss Universe Monday night (May 28). While most of the TV news focused on how the Miss U.S.A. contestant fell on her butt but still finished fifth, Riyo proved that Asia produces women of stunning but approachable beauty and grace.
Ms. Mori is certainly never going to enter the adult x-biz, nor would anyone want her to. Her glory lies elsewhere, for she’s a talented dancer who desires a Broadway career. We wish her the best in everything. She’s beautiful, charming and talented.
What I want to point out, however, is not just Ms. Mori’s beauty in the bathing suit photo shown here, but the incredible beauty of all the contestants in the Miss Universe Japan contest that was held just days before Monday’s international pageant. Kurara Chibana appears in the video (available below for viewing) as she congratulates Ms. Mori. Kurara, Miss Universe Japan 2006, finished second that year in the overall Miss Universe pageant.
Let’s hear it for Asia and Japan–what a source of beauty for the world. Can any man viewing this video ever doubt the individual and collective beauty present on that stage for Miss University Japan 2007?
